Sun shining down on The Laurels Holiday Park
Bright and early, 6am at The Laurels Holiday Park - near Padstow. The large motor home above belongs to Ray and Edna the Park managers. Before coming to The Laurels Ray and Edna traveled the world in their motor home and their expertise in understanding what makes a good place to camp certainly reflects in the atmosphere of the park - every little detail is attended to and taken care of.
A view from the FTI Bus pitch - lots of secluded spots on The Laurels and good size pitches.
There is a full size boat in the playground as well as a trampoline and various other swings and climbing frames, all on soft wood-chip flooring. Permanent brick barbecues are available in the play area so the kids can play whilst you cook their tea
Running along side of The Laurels is a public bridle way, you can walk to Wadebridge from here and just one mile away is the local pub The Quarryman Inn, where Andrew Ridgley (of Wham fame) hangs out occasionally. At present the bridle way is rather over grown in places and locals are waiting for the council to finally come and clear it and re-open up this popular ‘pub walk’.
